Every firefighter who’s been on the job for a while has that one call that stays in his or her memory and feels as if it happened just yesterday.
We asked Battalion Chief Brad Davis to tell us about the scariest call he’d ever gone on, and he gave us a great one. Brad’s been a firefighter since he joined the former Central Yavapai Fire District as a reserve in 1991, so he’s been doing this for a while now.
But Brad went on a structure fire call over 20 years ago that he remembers with crystal clarity.
